Full recap
Michael and Lincoln reunite with Self’s team in Los Angeles and are fitted with GPS ankle monitors, forcing them to live and work out of a warehouse on the harbor while they hunt for Scylla. Self brings in Roland, a hacker and identity thief, whose job is to help locate and decrypt the missing card.
Mahone pieces together a lead from Whistler’s connection to Tuxhorn and recognizes the likely driver as a former military man, which helps the group trace the card to Stuart Tuxhorn’s heavily guarded home. Because the house is too secure to storm directly, Roland devises a plan to copy the card’s data wirelessly from a distance using a device that can pull electronic information from within ten feet.
To get the device into the house, Sara plants it in a housekeeper’s purse at a bus station, sending it inside Tuxhorn’s residence with someone who works there. After the device gathers the data, Bellick pretends to be a purse snatcher and steals the woman’s purse so the team can recover it, but the device is not where they expect it to be, leaving the mission uncertain. Roland later decrypts the card and discovers the information is incomplete, leading Michael to realize that Scylla is not a single item but is actually made up of six separate cards.
Meanwhile, in the Mexican desert, T-Bag is abandoned and robbed by his transporter and left walking toward San Diego with Sancho. When Sancho turns on him and tries to kill him for food, T-Bag kills him in the struggle, then decides to survive by setting a fire and eating the body.
