Prison Break Episode 58: Scylla

Michael has tracked Gretchen and Whistler to Los Angeles, where they are trying to complete a deal involving a data disc called **the Card**. Whistler kills the current owner of the disc rather than pay for it, and Michael arrives intent on killing Gretchen and Whistler in revenge for Sara.

Before the confrontation can fully play out, Gretchen claims that Sara is alive, but police arrive because of the murder Whistler committed. Unbeknownst to Gretchen, Whistler has already copied the Card: he keeps the original and passes a copy to a Company representative before leaving.

When the General learns this, he orders Wyatt, the Company assassin, to kill Gretchen. Meanwhile, Lincoln is in Panama with Sophia and L.J., and Michael calls to update him on the situation in Sona, where a riot has burned the prison down and allowed T-Bag, Sucre, and Bellick to escape.

After that call, Michael is contacted by Mahone and Whistler, who are secretly working with Homeland Security to bring down the Company. They explain that the Card is actually **Scylla**, a crucial file containing information on the Company’s agents and operations, though it can only be decoded from inside an unknown facility.

Whistler again hints that Sara may still be alive, but Wyatt arrives before anything can be resolved and shoots Whistler in the head, killing him and taking the original Scylla card. To find out the truth for himself, Michael goes to Chicago and contacts Sara’s friend Bruce Bennett, but he ends up getting arrested by the police.

The episode also shows T-Bag heading toward the United States from Panama, looking for Michael so he can get revenge.
