Prison Break Episode 7: Riots, Drills and the Devil (2)

Michael pushes deeper into the prison during the riot and uses the ducts and pipes to reach the sick bay, where Sara is trapped by rioting inmates. He gets to her just in time, helps her escape through the ceiling crawlspace, and the two make their way toward safety while inmates continue searching below.

At the same time, Sucre and Abruzzi keep drilling through the wall toward the sewer line, making progress on the escape tunnel. Lincoln is lured away by another prisoner and then attacked in a secluded area by a man hired to kill him; after a dangerous fight, Lincoln manages to kill the attacker and survive.

Back in the riot, Michael and Sara reach an exit, but a sniper has Michael in his sights and won’t shoot while Sara is in the way. Michael tells Sara to run, letting himself remain exposed long enough for her to escape, and the prisoners chasing them take the bullet instead. Michael then retreats back inside and reunites with Lincoln, and the two share a relieved hug.

On the outside, Veronica and Nick follow the phone lead tied to Lincoln’s case to Washington, D.C., but their progress puts them in danger. Meanwhile, in the prison, the guard who knows about the escape plan is kept under watch, but T-Bag kills him anyway and disposes of the body.
