Prison Break Episode 84: Contingency

Sara is rattled when T-Bag shows her a photo of Jacob meeting with A&W and Van Gogh, and she immediately worries that her son Mike may be in danger. She rushes to pick Mike up from his grandparents’ house, but Jacob arrives there too, forcing Sara to face him directly.

With the threat to Mike still hanging over her, Sara’s friend urges her to hear Jacob out and helps set up a way to verify whether Andrew Nelson is real. Sara and her friend visit Andrew, who confirms that he did meet with Jacob and helped hack into the phone. Soon after, Jacob calls Sara from a police station, where A&W and Van Gogh are shown in a lineup and are arrested. Jacob explains that he had actually offered them a large amount of cash to back off Sara, and the hidden tracker in the money led police to them.

Meanwhile, Michael and Lincoln disagree over whether the airport or the train station is the better place to head in order to avoid ISIL. Cyclops finds Michael’s map at the auto shop and realizes the group is likely headed for the train station because it seems like the safest option. Michael, Lincoln, Ja, Whip, and Sid are then cornered and take shelter in a nearby hospital. Ja uses an oxygen tank and rubbing alcohol to set a trap for two ISIL soldiers, giving the group a chance to escape.

Lincoln calls C-Note and tells him to meet at the airport, but Cyclops overhears the conversation, shoots Sid, and calls in more ISIL fighters to ambush both groups. Sid fights Cyclops, manages to handcuff himself to him, and is fatally stabbed before Michael punches Cyclops and the others flee. At the airport, the pilot refuses to wait the extra 20 minutes for the group, and Lincoln tells C-Note and Sheba to leave the country and save the kids. The episode ends with Michael, Whip, Lincoln, and Ja trapped behind a fence as ISIL vehicles close in.
