Prison Break Episode 87: Progeny

Michael, Lincoln, Whip, and Sucre are rescued at sea and brought to Marseille after escaping the explosion that destroyed their boat. Michael quickly contacts Sara, realizes something is wrong with her situation, and decides the only move is to get back to the United States and confront the threat head-on.

Back in the States, Sara is trapped under Jacob’s control. Michael keeps trying to communicate with her, but Jacob has her phone and is impersonating her, which tips Michael off when Jacob uses the wrong name for Michael’s son. Jacob then escalates the situation by taking Mike Jr. and using him as bait to lure Michael in.

Michael and Lincoln organize a return plan with help from allies, including Sheba and C-Note, while also making use of Lincoln’s contact tied to a smuggling route. The group’s larger goal is to get close enough to Jacob to rescue Sara and Mike Jr., and to catch Poseidon while they have the chance.

Whip is sent on a separate mission to Chicago, where Michael has arranged for him to cross paths with T-Bag. There, T-Bag reveals that Whip is his son, explaining that Whip was the result of a one-night stand years earlier. The two men begin to process the revelation and form an uneasy but genuine bond.

Michael and Lincoln eventually trace the threat to a lake house, where Michael finds Mike Jr. being held. The confrontation turns violent: Lincoln runs into Luca, who shoots at him at close range, and Michael’s encounter at the house is interrupted by A&W and more gunfire. The episode ends with the rescue effort collapsing into chaos, leaving the characters in immediate danger and the situation unresolved.
