After Reacher and Duffy travel to Los Angeles to arrange a deal, Neagley arrives in Maine to help Reacher get answers.
Full recap
Reacher and Duffy travel to Los Angeles to pressure Darien Prado, a money launderer connected to the larger weapons pipeline, and they use incriminating surveillance footage to corner him into helping them. While they are there, Neagley separately tracks down the man who hired the attackers after her and extracts information about the larger operation and the danger surrounding Quinn.
Before the Los Angeles confrontation, Reacher and Duffy stop in Boston to speak with Teresa Daniel’s grandmother, who explains that Teresa’s mother died after relapsing and says Teresa has always been caring and protective of the people close to her. In Los Angeles, Reacher and Duffy review footage showing Prado’s exchange with Zachary Beck and learn how Prado boosts profits by making the drugs more addictive with fentanyl.
Using the leverage they have on Prado, Reacher and Duffy force him to arrange a meeting and keep feeding them useful details about the network. Beck is drawn further into the situation, and the episode shows the team trying to piece together where the weapons exchange will happen and how to use that information against Quinn’s operation.
Back in the wider investigation, Neagley’s separate work gives Reacher and Duffy a clearer picture of the threat they are facing, and the group shares what they have learned so they can coordinate a plan. By the end of the episode, the team believes they have enough information to proceed, but they also realize the operation is larger and more dangerous than they first thought.
