Reacher Episode 26: Cage Fight

Reacher wakes up shackled in a cage with **Tamara Green** and **Jacob Merrick** nearby, and quickly realizes they have been taken by armed federal agents who are trying to get information about Anna Merrick’s missing USB drive.

The agents question Reacher about the drive, and he pretends to cooperate long enough to create an opening. When the chance comes, he incapacitates the interrogators, uses a jack to pry open the cage holding Tamara and Jacob, and gets the three of them out before more agents arrive.

As they flee, they are helped by **Russell Plum**, a journalist who has been watching the site and believes it is a secret government black site. Plum gets them away from the facility, and the group separates to follow different leads.

Tamara and Jacob go to Anna Merrick’s house, where they find it ransacked and discover that Anna’s car is gone. While there, they also encounter an armed intruder, and Tamara knocks him out.

Reacher heads to Washington, D.C., where he meets **Elsbeth Sampson**, who gives him her husband’s address. At Sampson’s location, the same federal agents warn Reacher to stop investigating.

Meanwhile, Tamara and Jacob learn that Anna’s son **Ben** has disappeared, which deepens their concern that the people behind the kidnapping are still targeting the family. They track Ben to his fraternity circle and speak with one of his friends, **Colin**, who says Ben left with an OnlyFans model named **Mary Ellen Daniels**.

Reacher, Tamara, and Jacob then follow that lead to Mary’s apartment, where they find her murdered in a brutal way. The discovery convinces Reacher that the case is tied to organized, professional killers, not just local threats.

Back in Washington, Reacher confronts **John Sampson** about a possible connection to Lila’s claims, and Sampson firmly denies involvement. On the way out, Reacher notices **Nolan Cahill**, Sampson’s chief of staff, and realizes he is the same man he saw earlier on the night Anna died, giving Reacher a major new lead.
