Rick and Morty Episode 42: Mort Dinner Rick Andre

Rick and Morty are in a badly damaged spaceship hurtling toward Earth, and Morty calls Jessica while they seem doomed. Her response gives him the motivation to steer the ship into the ocean and survive, though the crash immediately causes a new problem: Rick’s ocean-ruining old enemy, Mr. Nimbus, shows up to enforce a treaty.

Rick prepares for a dinner meeting with Nimbus by having Morty retrieve and age wine in a strange time-dilated portal, while Summer is sent on a separate mission to recover a magical shell that helps Nimbus control the ocean. Morty’s wine run goes wrong when Jessica asks for a bottle, and he ends up entering the portal himself, where he meets a strange bovine man named Hoovy and returns with wine after a bizarre detour.

Back at the house, Nimbus arrives for dinner and the tense negotiation begins. At the same time, Morty’s strange portal trip creates serious consequences for Hoovy’s world, which later spirals into chaos as Morty is pulled back into the portal conflict and returns with Jessica caught up in it. Rick and Nimbus eventually cooperate to rescue Morty and Jessica, and Nimbus finally lets Rick go after acknowledging that they need each other.
