Rick and Morty Episode 77: The CuRicksous Case of Bethjamin Button

Rick takes Morty, Summer, and Jerry to Earth World, an alien theme park built around a version of Earth, but the trip goes badly because the park is run as a cheap, corporate tourist trap rather than the wild experience Rick expected. The family wanders through the park’s attractions while Rick grows increasingly frustrated with how sanitized and disappointing everything has become, and the outing escalates into chaos around the park’s absurd Earth-themed displays and hazards.

Back at home, Beth and Space Beth use an anti-aging machine to turn themselves into children so they can relive their youth and reconnect with the freedom they feel they have lost. At first, they treat it like a fun experiment, but their behavior quickly becomes reckless and violent, with the two child versions of Beth causing trouble around the house and in the yard.

As they spend more time acting like kids, the Beths’ rivalry and resentment surface, and the situation becomes increasingly dangerous. Their games and fights lead to real damage and injuries, including a chaotic treehouse setup and brutal physical attacks, while their immaturity makes them more destructive rather than more innocent.

The two Beths eventually end up stuck as children for longer than expected, and the conflict between them reaches its peak when they decide to destroy the aging machine rather than restore themselves to adulthood. Their choice leaves them committed to remaining in this younger state, ending the episode with the Beth storyline transformed into a bizarre and unstable new status quo.
