Silo Episode 17: The Dive

Bernard shows Lukas the **Legacy**, a hidden repository of books, records, and an advanced computer behind a vault door, and tells him to use it to help decode a mysterious message. At the same time, Mechanical escalates its resistance by sending out a message meant to rally the lower levels and expose the truth, while the growing unrest puts more pressure on Bernard’s control in the silo.

In Silo 17, Juliette agrees to help Solo by diving into the flooded lower levels to repair the water pump that is keeping the silo from filling up further. Solo withholds her suit and helmet until she completes the job, so the two rig a long air line, rope, and retrieval system to get her down and back safely.

Juliette makes the descent through the waterlogged silo, working in dangerous conditions as she reaches the pump and restores it. On the way back up, her air supply and tether fail, leaving her briefly in serious danger before she manages to get back to the surface.

After Juliette surfaces, she finds signs that something has gone wrong: there are clear indications of a struggle, and Solo is no longer where he was. She realizes that another person may be present in the silo, turning what had seemed like a two-person survival situation into something far more dangerous.
