Breaking Bad Episode 3: ...And the Bag's in the River

Full recap
Walt and Jesse clean the bloody remains of Emilio from Jesse’s bathtub using hydrofluoric acid and gas masks, while Krazy-8 remains shackled to a pipe in the basement. When Walt brings food downstairs, Krazy-8 reveals that Jesse told him and Emilio about Walt’s family and personal life, including his name. Walt angrily confronts Jesse, who is smoking meth in the bathroom; the two scuffle over Jesse’s bag of meth, which Jesse tosses out the window before driving off in a rage.
Meanwhile, Skyler tries to subtly ask her sister Marie about marijuana by claiming she’s writing a short story with a stoner character, but Marie misinterprets this and assumes Walt Jr. is smoking pot. Marie, who is secretly stealing expensive heels due to her kleptomania, convinces Hank to take Walt Jr. on a “come to Jesus” field trip to the Crystal Palace motel to scare him straight. At the motel, Hank introduces Walt Jr. to Wendy, a meth-abusing prostitute, and shows him how meth has corroded her teeth, though the lesson doesn’t reach Walt Jr. since he isn’t actually using.
Back at Jesse’s house, Walt suffers a violent coughing fit while chasing Jesse downstairs and collapses in the basement, shattering the plate holding Krazy-8’s food. After regaining consciousness, Walt tearfully reveals to Krazy-8 that he has lung cancer. Feeling a bond with Krazy-8, Walt decides to let him go and retrieves the key to the bike lock. However, as he turns to leave, Walt notices a large shard missing from the broken plate, realizing Krazy-8 obtained it while Walt was unconscious and plans to use it as a weapon.
Walt tearfully confronts Krazy-8, who immediately attacks him with the broken plate shard, stabbing Walt’s leg once or twice. Instead of letting him go, Walt pulls the bike lock tight around Krazy-8’s neck and strangles him to death, apologizing tearfully as Krazy-8 swings wildly. The episode ends with two revelations: Walt’s cancer diagnosis is now known to Krazy-8 (though Krazy-8 is dead), and Hank and DEA agent Gomez discover Krazy-8’s abandoned car and a sample of Walt’s meth at the cook site.
