Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Episode 7: Muzan Kibutsuji

Tanjiro enters a swampy magical dimension created by two demons, where he confronts them amid the remnants of their past victims. Using his Water Breathing Sixth Form to generate a massive whirlpool, he severs their bodies, exploiting their three-dimensional agility despite their home advantage.

Meanwhile, on the surface, Nezuko battles the third demon with superhuman hand-to-hand strength, treating the nearby humans—a man named Kazumi and a girl—as siblings to protect, as instructed by her former master Urokodaki. The demon, surprised by her power and assuming she consumed much blood, tries to retreat to the swamp but is overwhelmed by her escalating blows; he lands one hit before Tanjiro emerges from below to assist.

Tanjiro questions the surviving demon about **Muzan Kibutsuji**, causing it to tremble in fear and lash out after a brief flashback of Muzan's past threat to silence any who reveal him. Tanjiro counters with a clean slash, beheading and killing the demon.

With Nezuko now sleeping to recover, her head wound healed, Tanjiro checks on the devastated Kazumi, whose fiancée was among the victims. In a bustling city street, a man resembling Muzan Kibutsuji—pale-skinned and with a family—scratches a passerby on the neck while everyone's attention is on Tanjiro; the victim immediately turns demonic, biting his female companion and creating chaos.
