Dexter Episode 46: Lost Boys

Dexter tails Arthur Mitchell with the intention of killing him, but instead watches Arthur abduct a young boy from an arcade parking lot. The kidnapping forces Dexter to rethink everything he believed about Arthur’s murder pattern, and he begins racing to figure out where the boy is being held before it is too late.

At work and at home, Dexter is increasingly split between his investigation and his ordinary life. He deals with family concerns, including Cody and Harrison, while also continuing to hide his own secrets from the people around him.

Dexter visits the missing boy’s family and starts piecing together clues about Arthur’s behavior. After tracking down more information, he realizes Arthur’s killing cycle is not what investigators thought: the boy was taken as part of that pattern, and Dexter believes Arthur uses his construction work sites as hiding places for the bodies.

Dexter continues searching and eventually finds the boy at a construction location where Arthur is preparing to conceal him in fresh concrete. Dexter fights Arthur, manages to save the boy, and Arthur escapes.

Meanwhile, Debra pushes forward with her suspicions about Christine and gets closer to confirming that Christine was connected to Lundy’s death. By the end of the episode, Christine is arrested after evidence links her to Arthur.

The episode closes with Dexter at home with Harrison, where he comforts his son and reflects on protecting his family.
