Dexter Episode 60: The Big One

Dexter races to find **Lumen** after Jordan Chase has taken her, while **Debra** gets closer to uncovering Dexter’s secret and **Quinn** comes under suspicion for Stan Liddy’s death.

Astor and Cody show up at Dexter’s apartment and ask to spend the summer with him and Harrison, and Dexter agrees before leaving to keep searching for Lumen. Jordan keeps taunting Dexter by phone as Dexter drives with Lumen hidden in the trunk of his car.

Meanwhile, Liddy’s body is discovered, and at the crime scene LaGuerta questions Quinn about why Liddy kept calling him. Quinn refuses to cooperate, but LaGuerta notices blood on his shoe, so he asks for a lawyer and is detained for questioning.

Dexter follows Jordan’s trail to a camp Jordan owns under a different name and realizes it may be the same place where Emily was first attacked. He speeds there, but Jordan has placed a backhoe in the road, causing Dexter to crash and flip his car.

Jordan then finds the dazed Dexter at gunpoint and ties him up next to Lumen. While Jordan mocks him and inspects his tools, he notices one knife is missing, but too late—Dexter uses it to stab Jordan through the foot and free himself. Dexter overpowers Jordan and frees Lumen, then the two of them strap Jordan to a table.

Jordan keeps taunting Lumen, and she kills him by stabbing him in the chest. Dexter and Lumen later dispose of Jordan’s body, and Dexter goes to the lab to run blood work on Quinn’s shoe.

When Dexter returns, Lumen tells him she wants to leave because her urge to kill is gone now that Jordan is dead. Afterward, Quinn thanks Dexter because the blood work clears him of Liddy’s murder, and Dexter tells Debra that he still dislikes Quinn but accepts that he makes her happy.
