Dexter Episode 91: Dress Code

Dexter wakes up in an industrial area after being drugged, calls Debra for a ride, and realizes Hannah was responsible for putting them both under. He and Debra decide they can’t report her because she knows too much about what they’ve done.

Back home, Dexter and Debra look into Hannah’s trail through security footage and learn she rented a car. Dexter tracks her to a yacht and then to a club, but he’s blocked from entering by the dress code, so he calls Zach for help getting in. Inside, Dexter meets Hannah, who reveals that the man she’s with, Miles Castner, is her husband.

At the same time, Dexter is trying to guide Zach in following the code, while Dr. Vogel pushes Dexter to focus on that responsibility instead of Hannah. Zach’s urges worsen, and he has a tense confrontation with Cassie while Dexter is away.

Dexter confronts Hannah about why she came back to Miami, and she admits she wanted a new life but couldn’t stand Miles’s personality. She also reveals that she drugged Dexter because she wanted to use him to help lure Miles into danger, possibly to have him killed. After Miles finds out she has been talking to Dexter, he violently attacks Hannah on his yacht, but Hannah fights back and kills him.

Dexter arrives afterward and helps Hannah dispose of the body, not realizing Debra is watching them after tracking him with Elway’s GPS. Before Dexter can deal with anything else, he’s called to a crime scene in his building, where Cassie has been bludgeoned in the same way as Norma Rivera. Dexter suspects Zach and is left shaken, feeling that he failed to teach him properly.
