Dexter Episode 92: Are We There Yet?

Dexter is sent to the latest crime scene in his building and discovers that the victim is Cassie Jollenston, his neighbor and Jamie’s friend. The killing resembles earlier bludgeon murders, and Dexter finds blood evidence under Cassie’s fingernails that later points to Zach.

Believing Zach may have murdered an innocent woman, Dexter becomes determined to find him. He and Hannah follow Zach’s trail to Key West, where they find his hotel room prepared with plastic in a way that strongly resembles Dexter’s own killing setup. Dexter waits there with a knife, ready to kill Zach when he arrives.

Zach tells Dexter that he did not kill Cassie and says he has an alibi; he explains that he was actually stalking Shawn Decker, a man who killed two girls. Dexter then learns enough to realize that someone may be framing Zach, including the possibility that blood was taken from Zach through the damaged handle of his car.

Back in Miami, Dexter, Hannah, and Zach have dinner with Dr. Vogel at her house. The group discusses Cassie’s death, and Dexter tells Zach that he is probably being framed. Dexter then takes Hannah to a hotel so she can leave the country the next day, and the two sleep together.

When Dexter returns home, he finds that the Brain Surgeon has killed Zach in Zach’s house. Vogel also receives a jar containing Zach’s tissue. Dexter later dumps Zach’s body into the ocean.

The next day, Dexter stops Hannah from leaving the country and asks her to stay in Miami.
