Hunter x Hunter Episode 100: Tracking x and x Pursuit

Knuckle and Shoot wait in ambush for Cheetu, but Cheetu suddenly changes course at the last second, apparently because he has been warned about the trap. Shoot refuses to chase him, judging that they cannot hope to match his speed, and the two Hunters realize their plan has failed.

Above them, Flutter reports their presence to the other Chimera Ants, and Leol is told to ignore Knuckle and Shoot because they are not the real target. Leol then receives a call from Neferpitou, who says that the person they are after has engaged a squad of soldiers and predicts that their next move will be in Longtong; Leol is ordered to go there and block the target’s escape route.

The episode then shifts to Killua, who is being pursued by Chimera Ants. After taking cover, he waits for Flutter to come down, but instead Flutter sends soldiers after him. Killua rapidly cuts down two attackers, showing that he can now evade and counter their assaults far better than before. Flutter observes him closely and notes that Killua has started using Nen; since Killua cannot use En, he instead surrounds himself with a thin layer of aura, measuring it at 57 centimeters.

Killua keeps pressing forward, following the source of the attacks, while Flutter warns a sniper that Killua is approaching. Killua reaches a hole and is told that it is a trap, but he grabs the sniper as he descends and drives his claws into the sniper’s skull, dismissing the warning. The “sniper” then reveals itself to be another creature entirely and drags Killua into an underground lake, where he is suddenly left in a much more dangerous situation than he expected.
