Full recap
Killua asks a creature if it is an octopus, which it angrily denies. The creature, Ikalgo, uses a gun to retreat, but Killua catches up and grabs the weapon. Killua sticks a suction cup from the gun onto a rock and questions why Ikalgo didn't escape underwater, noting Ikalgo's apparent advantage there. Killua deduces that Ikalgo cannot swim, that its tentacles are bleeding, and that the smell of blood will attract its subordinates. Another creature, Flutter, contacts Ikalgo telepathically, asking if the target has been killed. Ikalgo audibly states otherwise, prompting Killua to ask who he is talking to. Killua guesses that all Chimera Ants can use telepathy. Killua offers to spare Ikalgo's life if Ikalgo shares information about Flutter's ability, giving him ten seconds to respond.
As Killua counts down, Ikalgo internally wishes he were a squid, finding octopi ugly. With two seconds left, Ikalgo cuts off his gun and falls, stating he won't betray a friend. Killua catches him with a yo-yo, compliments him, and says they could have been friends. He then throws Ikalgo to the other side of the cave. A gigantic Chimera Ant shark attacks Killua. Flutter contacts Ikalgo for a report, and Ikalgo replies they are still fighting. The shark mocks Killua, telling him to beg for his life. Killua instantly kills the shark with his claws. A creature named Remora emerges from the shark's body and attaches a badge to Killua's back. Remora then reports to two other creatures, the Ortho Siblings, that the "Bar Double Bull" badge has been attached to Killua, much to their pleasure.
Killua lands on the other side of the cave and notices his bleeding has not stopped. He hears a digital sound in his head and is attacked on his left hand by a dart. Another dart hits his torso, and his body begins to resemble a dartboard. He realizes the fish are made from Nen, and the Ortho brother speaks to him telepathically. More darts continuously hit Killua, and blood slowly oozes from the wounds. He deduces that his attacker can only use three fish at once. He runs towards the lake and sees himself covered in a dartboard-like pattern. The Ortho brother explains that his board is linked to Killua's body and continues to attack, assigning points to each hit part of Killua's body.
The brother announces the game is almost over with 86 points left. When his sister suggests informing Killua, the brother declines, preferring Killua to beg for his life. Killua begins to fall as he is continuously hit by the fish darts, breathing heavily from blood loss. The Ortho brother prepares his final move and pierces Killua's left ear. Still being hit, Killua prepares to use his electricity. The brother shoots his final dart, aiming for Killua's head. The 40 points left on the board reduce to zero, and the fish dart materializes on Killua's forehead. Killua falls on his back while the Ortho Siblings celebrate at their base. The sister leaves the base, followed by her brother, to check on Killua's corpse. They leave their base underwater, planning to share some meat with Remora.
Elsewhere, Gon eats fruits while Meleoron watches. Gon asks why he suddenly decided to trust Meleoron. Gon says he was never suspicious, only wondering why he was being followed, and adds that Meleoron swore he wouldn't lie. Meleoron is surprised by Gon's innocence and warns that liars make promises all the time. Gon asks if Meleoron was lying, but Meleoron continues to promise he was telling the truth. Gon says that's enough for him. Meleoron begins to wonder if he can still put his life in the hands of a child like Gon. Gon interrupts his thoughts, saying that if Meleoron were lying, it would be easier for him. Meleoron is confused. Gon clarifies that if Meleoron were lying, he wouldn't need to show any mercy and could kill him without reservations. This slightly takes Meleoron aback but confirms his hunch that there is something special about Gon.
The Ortho Siblings emerge from the water and approach Killua's body. The brother tells Flutter that the target has been killed and assures the siblings of their promotion from Leol. As they celebrate their impending status as Assistant Squadron Leaders, Killua instantly beheads them. As their heads fall, the brother expresses shock at seeing Killua alive. Killua takes the dart from his forehead and reveals that a suction cup saved him. The brother insists his darts are unstoppable, but Killua states he grabbed the dart the moment it materialized on his forehead. He also reveals he removed the darts, substituted the sharp point with a suction cup, and stuck it back on his forehead.
The brother exclaims that no human has reflexes fast enough to catch a dart and that it wouldn't have been possible unless Killua knew where it would appear. Killua explains he knew exactly where the final dart would hit because, in the game of darts, the final dart must hit the outer ring according to double-out rules. He explains the rules of the game, surprising the siblings. Killua states that throughout the game, he did the math, subtracting the points where the darts hit his body. He waited until only 40 points remained and placed his hand on his forehead, the 40-point area. He used his electricity to improve his reflexes. The brother asks if Killua has a history with darts. Killua replies he mastered the game at age six and had counted down from 1,440 points as part of his early training.
The sister blames her brother for being too cocky. Killua walks away but falls to the ground. His blood begins to ooze and pool around him. He thinks he is going to die, right after getting an idea for improving his ability, and apologizes to Gon. Ikalgo appears, and Killua still calls him an octopus. Ikalgo denies it again and proceeds to take Killua away from the cave. He tells Killua he knows a doctor and it won't take long to get there. Ikalgo, having been called a cool guy by Killua and told they could have been friends, decides he couldn't let Killua die. He takes an underwater road and tells Killua not to die on him.
