Hunter x Hunter Episode 106: Knov x and x Morel

Upon arriving at his destination, Knov observes strange trees in front of the palace, recognizing them as cocoons containing selected humans. He understands these humans are intended to become weapons for the King and creates an exit using his ability, vowing to thwart the plan. He continues toward the palace entrance, making another exit just before it. Knov determines that reaching the second floor of the inner palace is crucial to prevent reinforcements from arriving. On his way, he encounters a Chimera Ant soldier, whom he quickly eliminates with his Scream ability. Knov then hesitates, unsure if more soldiers are present.

He eventually reaches the central staircase but is stopped by an overwhelming evil aura emanating from above. Overcome by fear of being tortured for information before being killed, Knov realizes he cannot proceed and opens a final exit. Meanwhile, Morel encounters Leol. After exchanging jokes and introductions, Morel runs in the opposite direction, intending to divert attention so Knov can infiltrate the palace. Unbeknownst to Morel, he is being followed by an ability Leol stole.

At the same time, a convoy of trucks approaches the palace. Knov watches from a distance, knowing Palm is inside one of them. Inside, Bizeff receives the delivery, specifically requesting that the fourth truck be left alone. He personally drives this truck further into the building, from which five women emerge. Bizeff selects one of the women to accompany him, while Palm continues with her mission's plan. She resolves that if captured, she will take her own life.

Now far from the palace, Knov finds a safe hiding spot. He silently pleads with Palm not to do anything reckless, even though he knows the mission can continue if she fails. He recalls the vicious aura, acknowledging that facing it easily broke his will. Breaking down and crying, he questions how Gon and Killua can continue fighting despite directly confronting the source of that aura. He again implores Palm not to act foolishly, recognizing that he cannot return to the palace. At that moment, Palm enters Bizeff's quarters with a cold drink, intending to manipulate him. Meanwhile, Morel and Leol find themselves in an underground church. After some taunting from Leol, Morel calls the Chimera Ant cocky and unleashes his ability. Leol reveals his knowledge of Morel's smoke-shape-shifting, which Morel realizes he can use to his advantage. Although Morel knows he should strike before his opponent reveals their ability, he decides that's not how men should fight and excitedly waits for Leol to make his move.
