Hunter x Hunter Episode 107: Return x and x Retire

Morel and a Chimera Ant named Leol continue their confrontation in an underground church. Leol activates an ability, unleashing a large wave of water that crashes into the church. Leol rides the wave on a board, clashing with Morel using a summoned harpoon. Morel recognizes the ability, angrily stating it belongs to his friend, and uses smoke to stand on the water. They continue to attack each other until Leol begins spinning, creating whirls of water. Morel prepares himself before being forced underwater. Leol considers how to finish his opponent, but then notices Morel is no longer submerged. It is revealed Morel used smoke to escape the whirl, aided by his large lung capacity.

Morel then states he understands the secret behind Leol's power and vows to defeat him for stealing the ability. After a brief argument, Leol creates a large water wall, forcing Morel underwater again. Leol is surprised when Morel doesn't surface after some time and then sees air bubbles in multiple places in the water. He tries to understand Morel's strategy, thinking Morel is attempting to escape. Before he can pursue, Leol's vision clouds, and he feels pain. He wonders if he has been poisoned, and his ability disappears, causing him to fall underwater. It is then revealed that the 'poison' was carbon dioxide, which Morel increased using his lungs and smoke.

Under the palace, a woman named Palm takes the opportunity to move, having figured out how to escape using her ability. She reaches the central staircase and, like another individual, encounters an evil aura that prevents her from moving further. The aura suddenly vanishes, but a different one manifests, leaving Palm with a fearful expression.

Meanwhile, Killua wakes up in an unknown location with a Chimera Ant named Ikalgo beside him. Killua learns he is in an underground clinic and tries to leave, shocked he slept for two days. Ikalgo argues his wounds will reopen, but they are interrupted by a nurse who notices Killua is awake and asks for payment before he leaves. After a short argument, Killua uses a telephone to contact Gon, asking him to send money for the nurse and inquiring about the situation. After the call, Gon and others discuss Palm's whereabouts. A man named Knuckle believes she is still at the palace, making Gon worry about a being's "En." A man named Shoot correctly deduces that the being's En cannot reach the underground warehouse, but this also means Palm cannot exit as the way out is on the surface.

Gon then contacts Morel, asking about the state of another individual. It is revealed that this individual cannot participate in the battle anymore, but since he managed to place the exits, the original plan can continue. Killua tests his body, and Ikalgo is shocked that he is already healed. When the doctor appears, allowing Killua to leave as the money has arrived, Killua heads for the exit, with Ikalgo standing behind. Killua tells Ikalgo to come along, wanting to introduce him to the other Hunters, which leaves the Chimera Ant speechless. Ikalgo is touched after Killua notes he thought they were already friends. They both head out, but Killua stops to discuss how friends support each other and the true nature of the Hunters. Ikalgo, realizing this is what he always wanted, begins to cry, eventually following Killua towards the other Hunters.
