With only four candidates left, the election draws to its conclusion and has an unexpected turn when Leorio receives the support from two of the other remaining contestants, who are eager to prevent Pariston from winning. Cheadle asks Ging how to beat Pariston, and Ging gives a blunt explanation of why Pariston is dangerous: he says Pariston does not truly want to win or lose, which makes him hard to defeat. He also suggests that Pariston is not playing to follow normal election logic, but to disrupt it, and he points Cheadle toward information about the wider situation surrounding the election and the hunters’ next move.
At the election, the candidates give speeches and the remaining field is reduced to **four finalists**. Leorio speaks first and, to everyone’s surprise, his speech draws a huge reaction from the crowd. The room erupts in applause, and Leorio is stunned by how strongly the other hunters respond to him. Cheadle then makes a decisive move by publicly urging the crowd to vote for Leorio, causing more shock among the audience and the other candidates. Mizaistom also steps forward and supports Cheadle, helping build a coalition against Pariston rather than continuing to compete in the usual way.
While the election is unfolding, Killua finally reaches the hospital where Gon is being treated. The episode ends with the election still in motion and the alliance against Pariston having altered the balance of power, but without resolving the chairman race yet.
