Hunter x Hunter Episode 51: A x Brutal x Battlefield

While shopping, a young woman named Neon manages to evade her servants and bodyguards. Elsewhere, a man named Zenji gathers various assassins and hit-men, including Silva, Zeno, and a man named Kurapika, to deal with a group known as the Phantom Troupe. After the assassins make their decision, Zenji taunts a man named Light, but stops when Kurapika threatens him. Light then tells Zenji to cease, and Zenji quickly leaves with his guards.

As Kurapika travels to the auction, he receives a call from Basho and Melody, who inform him that Neon has escaped. Light hears this news about his daughter and becomes very worried. Kurapika uses his Dowsing Chain to locate Neon. Light immediately alerts the police and guards, instructing them not to let his daughter enter the auction building.

However, Neon, with the help of a man named Chrollo, manages to bypass security and enter the building where the auction is being held. Light receives an update that his daughter has entered the auction house and grows more concerned for her safety. Meanwhile, Chrollo chats with Neon about her fortune-telling skill and asks her to foretell his fortune, which Neon agrees to do. When she finishes, Chrollo reads the first verse of the paper, and tears stream from his eyes as he states that everything foretold is true. The fortune indicates he will mourn lost comrades, be injured but remain strong, and find new teammates. The two then leave the restaurant.

Neon explains that when she was young, she saw a fortune teller on TV who turned out to be a con artist, but this did not deter Neon from becoming one herself. Chrollo cannot stop thinking about the fortune Neon told him. As they walk, he tells Neon that he believes in ghosts, referring to someone named Uvogin, and says that in Uvogin's memory, he will "go wild." Chrollo then quickly knocks Neon unconscious. After doing so, he acts concerned and asks for help from the security. In the building's monitor operating room, an unnamed assassin asks an operator to rewind the footage of Neon collapsing and sees Chrollo striking her.

Kurapika and Light arrive at the building and go directly to Neon. Kurapika tells Light to leave the area with Basho and Melody, stating that the auction will not be held as the place will become a battlefield. The unnamed assassin locates Chrollo, who has already dealt with another assassin. Chrollo tells the unnamed assassin to show himself and invites him to fight one-on-one.

A man named Feitan tells another man named Phinks about a message he received from their Boss, instructing them to "go wild" while heading to the Cemetery Building, where the auction is supposed to take place. Phinks asks about the other members, and Feitan replies that they are on their way to the cemetery, cleaning up "trash" as they approach the building. Other members of the Troupe, with the exception of a man named Hisoka who watches from a distance, are seen in the streets of Yorknew City disposing of police and mafia members. Meanwhile, Chrollo uses his Nen ability, Indoor Fish, on the unnamed assassin, tearing his body to pieces but keeping him alive. Chrollo then opens the window, and the unnamed assassin is instantly killed, as per the rule of the ability. Chrollo, while reciting the prophecy foretold to him, performs a requiem by shedding blood, dedicating it to Uvogin.
