Hunter x Hunter Episode 52: Assault x and x Impact

The Phantom Troupe continues to cause chaos in Yorknew City. Kurapika is in a room with his boss, Light, and Light's daughter, Neon, who is resting. Kurapika decides to patrol the building, but Light asks him to stay to protect Neon while they await rescue and a doctor. The doctor soon arrives and examines Neon. A man named Bean questions Kurapika about staying with Neon instead of pursuing the Phantom Troupe. Afterward, Kurapika receives permission to patrol.

While Kurapika patrols, various mafia bosses and members express dissatisfaction with their situation. Kurapika then gets a call from Gon and Killua, who tell him they were kidnapped by the Phantom Troupe. This news angers Kurapika. Gon and Killua still offer to help by providing information, but Kurapika declines, stating he has another source and doesn't want them involved in his mission. After their conversation, the Phantom Troupe continues their rampage, approaching the auction building. Inside the Cemetery Building, the situation becomes uncontrollable as mafia members panic and consider breaking auction rules to protect themselves.

Two individuals, Zeno and Silva, appear and warn the mafia about a Phantom Troupe member who has infiltrated the building, emphasizing the individual's strength by claiming they could kill everyone in less than ten seconds. Kurapika, still searching for the Troupe, receives a call from Light, who orders him to return to Neon. Zeno and Silva locate a person named Chrollo. After a brief exchange, the three begin to fight. Chrollo manages to cut Silva with a knife, which Silva recognizes, and he stops the poison from spreading. Zeno analyzes Chrollo's abilities and deduces that Chrollo's power, due to its strength, likely requires at least four or five conditions to activate, which Chrollo would struggle to meet while fighting both Zeno and Silva. Zeno suggests that Chrollo's use of a toxic knife further indicates he cannot freely steal abilities. Realizing Zeno's analytical skill, Chrollo discards the knife and changes his tactics.

Zeno approaches Chrollo and makes a move but suddenly stops. He observes Chrollo using an ability involving a book that contains lists of stolen abilities. Zeno becomes more cautious, using his abilities to fight Chrollo from a distance, and manages to guess the function of Chrollo's book during the fight. Chrollo evades Zeno's attacks while remaining vigilant of Silva. When Chrollo senses Silva's presence, he becomes distracted and is caught by Zeno's technique. With Chrollo trapped, Zeno signals Silva to finish him. Silva then releases two large, glowing balls of aura directly toward Chrollo and Zeno.
