Jujutsu Kaisen Episode 32: The Shibuya Incident

On October 31, 2018, at 7:00 PM, a supernatural curtain descends over Shibuya, trapping hundreds of civilians inside and cutting off all communication signals. Multiple barriers are erected throughout the area, including one beneath Shibuya Station.

**Gojo's Confrontation**

Satoru Gojo arrives at the Hikari building where civilians are packed densely together. He floats above the crowd to reach an atrium opening to the lower floors, quickly assessing the enemy's plan before descending to the B5F platform of the Fukutoshin Line. There, he confronts three powerful opponents: **Jogo, Hanami, and Choso**. Gojo tells Jogo not to come up to the upper levels and removes his blindfold, revealing his distinctive eyes as he prepares for battle.

The enemies' strategy becomes clear: they've filled the station with civilians to prevent Gojo from using his full strength, knowing he won't risk harming innocent people. Their goal is to stall him for 20 minutes until someone called Getou arrives with an object called the **Prison Realm**.

**Yuji and Mei Mei's Battle**

Meanwhile, Yuji Itadori accompanies **Mei Mei**, a powerful sorcerer, as they encounter a second barrier near Meiji-Jinguemae and Shibuya Station. Mei Mei engages and easily defeats a curse user named Niji Ebina, cutting him down without hesitation.

Yuji faces a **grasshopper cursed spirit** capable of speech. Despite the curse's attempts at clever tactics—spitting at him and stabbing with its abdomen—Yuji overwhelms it with superior combat ability. He later encounters **Choso**, engaging him in close-quarters combat. Though Yuji gains the upper hand initially, Choso predicts his follow-up strike and hardens his body with blood, counter-attacking with two consecutive blows that send Yuji crashing into a bathroom wall.

The episode concludes with the large-scale battle in Shibuya beginning in earnest, with sorcerers, curse users, and curses converging on the location.
