Jujutsu Kaisen Episode 33: Shibuya Incident - Gate, Open

Satoru Gojo confronts the volcano-headed cursed spirit (Jogo), the plant cursed spirit (Hanami), and Choso at Shibuya Station, fighting them hand-to-hand while protecting civilians on the crowded platform. Gojo deactivates his Limitless technique to go on the offensive, parrying Jogo's punches, flipping him over his back, ripping off his arm, and using the severed flesh to block Hanami's attacks before kicking both spirits away. Hanami realizes Gojo has dropped his defensive Infinity, and Gojo declares Hanami his first target, targeting its weak spot by ripping out its roots and pinning it against a wall with an expanded Infinity, crushing and exorcising it completely despite Jogo's threats to kill humans.

Jogo survives by hit-and-run tactics, throwing civilians at Gojo as distractions and demanding Choso's help with more Piercing Blood attacks, which Gojo effortlessly deflects upon reactivating Infinity. Gojo expands his Domain, **Infinite Void**, for just 0.2 seconds—calculated as the time non-sorcerers can survive—freezing time from his perspective for nearly five minutes while leaving bystanders temporarily unconscious, allowing him to turn the tables on his foes. As Gojo prepares this, a figure resembling Suguru Geto (who appears to recognize Gojo) tosses out a large black cube called the Prison Realm from a gate above the station.

The gate fully opens, unleashing thousands more transfigured humans and civilians who collapse as Hanami's technique fades, overwhelming the area. Gojo, realizing he cannot save everyone, prioritizes exorcising the threats amid the chaos. Geto activates the Prison Realm, sealing Gojo inside it despite his power, as the cube's conditions are met. Meanwhile, Yuji Itadori, battered from his fight with Choso—including blows to vital organs and crashes into a bathroom wall—receives a Mechamaru-like device in his ear warning that Gojo has been sealed. Geto, speaking to Gojo before the seal completes, hints at a larger plan, and the episode ends with the villains' scheme succeeding.
