Yuji Itadori chases Mahito from Meiji-Jingumae Station toward Shibuya Station, where he is suddenly approached by a small device shaped like Mechamaru's face. The device delivers devastating news: **Satoru Gojo has been sealed**. Though initially skeptical, Yuji comes to understand the situation through the device's explanation.

Gojo's battle with his opponent reaches a critical moment when a philosophical conversation unfolds between Gojo, Kenjaku, and Mahito about the nature of the soul. During this exchange, Gojo makes a defiant statement demanding that someone stop controlling the body he's in, which causes a violent phenomenon—Gojo's own hand grasps his neck in rebellion against the impostor controlling him. Despite being choked, this moment reveals that the original consciousness is still fighting back.

Yuji immediately informs all sorcerers of Gojo's sealing and begins a mission to rescue him. He enters a curtain trapping civilians in the city and fights several transfigured humans to protect bystanders. Reaching the top of a tall building, Yuji yells as loudly as he can for everyone in the city to hear, calling for Nanami and revealing that Gojo has been sealed. Nanami takes this very seriously and immediately changes course, ordering his team to meet up with Yuji.

Meanwhile, the antagonists deliberate on how to handle Yuji. Jogo wants to feed him more of Sukuna's fingers to force the cursed spirit into control, while Choso and Mahito prefer to kill him outright. Mahito, intrigued by Yuji despite his casual approach to the proposed killing, views him as a significant threat.

The episode also reveals that Mechamaru had prepared an insurance plan for this exact scenario—his device serves as a crucial communication tool that allows the sorcerers to learn of Gojo's sealing and coordinate their response.
