Jujutsu Kaisen Episode 43: Right and Wrong, Part 2

Yuji confronts Mahito after witnessing the destruction of Shibuya, carrying the weight of guilt over the devastation caused when Sukuna took control of his body. Nobara arrives at the scene, having been kept in the dark about Shoko's location in Shibuya to prevent her from acting recklessly.

Nobara engages Mahito's clone in combat, discovering that this particular copy cannot touch her soul—making it one of the few opponents she can effectively fight. She employs her cursed technique strategically, dropping nails imbued with cursed energy and detonating them with her hairpin to immobilize the clone. She then drives a nail into the clone's head and activates her Resonance ability, which allows her to attack Mahito's soul through the copy by using it as an effigy. This technique proves devastating, causing nails to burst from the original Mahito's chest and giving Yuji an opening to mount a powerful counterattack.

With renewed determination, Yuji relentlessly pursues Mahito, refusing to give him any opportunity to recover or escape. However, Mahito recognizes the losing battle and employs a tactical retreat, splitting his body and repositioning himself. In a critical moment, Mahito manages to touch Nobara directly, fatally wounding her. As Yuji realizes what has happened, he desperately calls out to her, his voice carrying the weight of inevitable loss. Nobara's death serves as Mahito's deliberate psychological weapon—another devastating blow to Yuji, who is already traumatized by the destruction of Shibuya and the death of Nanami.
