Yuji stands frozen in shock amid the devastation around him, his mind overwhelmed by the recent losses. Mahito, thrilled by Yuji's despair as a curse reveling in human suffering, charges at him with his arm morphed into a jagged blade.

Todo claps his hands to activate **Boogie Woogie**, swapping Mahito's position with Arata Nitta standing behind him. As Mahito turns to attack Todo, the third-year student swaps him with Yuji again, then delivers a powerful kick to Mahito's face that sends the special grade curse flying toward Arata. Todo swaps Arata and Mahito once more, preventing a collision as Mahito tumbles across the ground.

Yuji snaps out of his daze, regaining his resolve to fight. Anticipating a swap with Todo, Mahito is caught off guard when Todo instead swaps himself with Yuji, who charges his fist with cursed energy and lands a **Black Flash** on the curse's arm. Mahito reels back from the strike as Yuji recalls Nanami's final words, vowing to endure suffering in his place.

Amused, Mahito regenerates his arm while Todo welcomes Yuji back to the battle, the two sorcerers now standing side by side, ready to confront the curse.

Meanwhile, Tsumiki (referred to as Toto in some contexts) arrives at the spot where the Prison Realm dented the ground, confirms Satoru has been sealed and the cursed object moved, and decides to shift goals from retrieval. Todo, having assessed that Geto escaped with the sealed Satoru, redirects his efforts to aid remaining sorcerers in combat, prioritizing Yuji's location.
