All Might, weakened after defeating Nomu with a barrage of punches that punches a hole through the roof, stands defiantly and challenges the frustrated Shigaraki to fight him next, bluffing strength despite his deflating form.

Midoriya notices All Might's vulnerability and realizes the hero is running out of time, while Shigaraki panics over All Might's persistence and debates retreating with Kurogiri, who urges him to stay and capitalize on the moment. Elsewhere, a villain with an electric quirk captures Kaminari as a hostage, leaving Jiro and Yaoyorozu at his mercy; Jiro attempts a distraction, but the villain sees through it and threatens to kill Kaminari if they move.

Shigaraki and Kurogiri charge at the immobilized All Might, prompting Midoriya to rush in despite breaking both his legs, aiming a punch at Kurogiri's armor; Shigaraki counters by reaching a hand through the portal toward Midoriya's face. Reinforcements arrive just in time, led by U.A. pro heroes including the principal and Iida: Snipe shoots Shigaraki's hand and the electric villain holding Kaminari, Present Mic yells to subdue the thugs, a clone-making hero deploys copies of himself, and No. 13 uses a black hole to pull in Kurogiri.

Meanwhile, Class 1-A gathers, learning Aizawa's sight is permanently weakened and No. 13 will recover; the principal announces beefed-up school security after finding the defeated Nomu in the forest without issue. Detective Tsukauchi, aware of All Might's secret, visits Midoriya and All Might in the nurse's office, questioning if the fight limited the hero's power. All Might tells Midoriya the Class 1-A students will become great heroes for fighting on despite the odds, as each stands with firmer resolve.
