The episode opens with Class 1-A meeting **Eri** in the U.A. dorm lounge, where **Aizawa** explains that she will be moving to U.A. because she cannot stay in the hospital anymore. He steps outside with the students, and **Mirio** explains that Eri has no other family who can take her in: her mother abandoned her, and her grandfather—the yakuza boss connected to her situation—is still in a coma.

Soon after, the episode shifts to the long-awaited **Hero Billboard Chart JP** ceremony, held at **Kamino** as a major public event. The ranking is presented as the first official top heroes list since **All Might’s retirement**, and the broadcast emphasizes that the country is now looking for new figures to trust and admire.
