My Hero Academia Episode 91: Clash! Class A vs. Class B!
Class A and Class B are joined by a special guest as they battle it out during their joint combat training.
Full recap
Izuku wakes up unsettled after a strange dream about **One For All**, then meets with All Might to talk about what he saw. Soon after, Aizawa introduces a new student to the Hero Course, and the teachers begin the long-awaited training battle between **Class A and Class B**.
At the start, Izuku recounts his dream to All Might, explaining that he somehow saw the previous user of One For All and heard a cryptic warning. All Might admits that he has also had a similar dream, which leaves both of them unsure what the messages mean but clearly concerned that something about the power is changing.
Izuku and All Might then run into Aizawa, who is with **Hitoshi Shinso**, a student from General Studies who is trying to enter the Hero Course. Shinso’s presence is treated as notable because he has already faced Izuku before, and Aizawa brings him along as part of the upcoming training exercise.
The episode then shifts to the training grounds, where the two classes gather for a large-scale combat exercise. The teachers explain that the test will pit **Class A against Class B** in a series of team battles, with the students split into five groups and fighting in arranged matches. The goal is to capture opponents, as if they were villains, and the class with the most victories will come out ahead.
Shinso’s special role is explained: because the number of students is uneven, he will participate in two matches, fighting once on each side so both classes have the same number of fighters. This immediately draws attention from both classes, especially because several students expect his skills to matter a great deal in a combat scenario.
Once the teams are decided and the first matchup is announced, the episode builds tension around the opening battle. Class A begins discussing strategy, while Class B’s side includes several students with strong and unusual abilities, making the match feel unpredictable from the start.
The first fight begins with Class A’s team moving into action against Class B’s team. Early in the battle, Class B quickly disrupts Class A’s coordination by using powers that interfere with communication and movement, while another opponent’s beast-like combat ability turns the fight into a fast and dangerous clash.
Shinso then proves immediately valuable: using his voice-altering equipment, he imitates a teammate’s voice and triggers his brainwashing ability at the right moment, turning the situation in Class A’s favor. The episode ends with the match still underway and the first battle’s momentum shifting after Shinso’s intervention.
