Prison Break Episode 39: Bad Blood

Michael and Sara try to get the recording from the Corona de Oro cigar club, but the attempt fails when the club’s security is ready for them and someone recognizes Sara, forcing them to flee empty-handed. Michael then realizes that former Fox River warden Henry Pope is a member of the club, so he and Sara go to Pope’s home and try to persuade him to help open the humidor where the evidence is hidden.

Pope is unwilling at first and wants to call the police, but Michael proves he is serious by drawing his gun and handing it over, then making a deal to turn himself in if Pope helps them. With Pope’s help, Michael goes back to the club using the key, and inside he finds a computer memory stick in the humidor. When they leave, Agent William Kim is waiting outside with armed men, but Michael drives into Kim and escapes with Pope, Sara, and Lincoln after locking Kellerman out.

Elsewhere, Sucre is traveling in Mexico to reach Maricruz, but his car trouble and a ride from an airport security worker lead to danger when the worker notices his wanted poster, forcing Sucre to run with Maricruz after being identified. In Alabama, T-Bag returns to his vandalized, looted house with the Hollander family, where memories of his abusive father surface; he tries to convince Susan that he wants a family with them, but when she rejects him, he locks her and the children in the basement and leaves them behind after briefly considering killing them.

At the same time, Mahone tracks down C-Note and his daughter, but lets them get away after seeing the child, instead of shooting them. C-Note takes his daughter to a doctor because he is worried about her kidney disease, and when he realizes how serious her condition is, he turns himself in to Mahone and makes a deal for her treatment.
