Full recap

Michael, Lincoln, and Sara listen to the audio recording they recovered, and the contents leave them stunned because the tape points to evidence that could help expose the conspiracy against Lincoln. They decide they need someone from inside the government who can be trusted, and their search leads them toward Cooper Green, a high-ranking official linked to the people who could use the recording properly.

Lincoln remains skeptical about trusting anyone in Washington, but the group still works toward arranging contact with Green through a receptionist and setting up a meeting in Chicago. When the meeting is arranged, men connected to Bill Kim are already watching, signaling that the conspiracy is close behind them.

Elsewhere, Sara meets Bruce Bennett, who tries to convince her that he is not working for the Company. At the same time, Paul Kellerman visits his sister Kristine, a personal stop that comes just before he moves ahead with his plan against the president.

T-Bag tracks down a therapist and murders him to steal his identity, then uses that new identity to move forward with his escape plan. Bellick pressures Sucre’s incarcerated cousin for information about Sucre’s whereabouts, while Mahone is ordered to deal with C-Note and sends a threatening package to his cell.

Sucre and Maricruz continue on the run and reach safety with family, while C-Note’s situation grows more desperate under Mahone’s pressure. By the end of the episode, the brothers are not yet cleared, but they now understand the recording can be used to blackmail the people behind the frame-up rather than immediately prove Lincoln’s innocence.
