Prison Break Episode 49: Interference

Michael pushes the escape plan forward by deciding the breakout must happen at **3 p.m. the next day**, in broad daylight, because that is the only way to avoid the military jeeps patrolling near the prison. He tells Whistler the outline of the plan and says he first needs to study the guards closely to learn their weaknesses.

Lincoln visits Michael and confirms that the deadline is tomorrow, then goes outside to try to arrange a getaway vehicle and a route for the escape. Outside the prison, Lincoln and Sofia are intercepted by police while scouting a route, forcing Lincoln to adapt his plans.

A new inmate, **Andrew Tyge**, arrives at Sona and is immediately robbed by other prisoners. Tyge notices Michael and Whistler speaking and makes it clear that he recognizes one of them, which makes Michael and Mahone wary of him.

Inside the prison, Michael asks McGrady for a **watch** and **binoculars** so he can keep working on the plan. He watches the guard tower carefully and discovers that one guard has a brief **blind spot** at a certain time of day, giving the team a possible window to move. Tyge continues to snoop around Michael and Whistler, and Michael nearly catches him spying but misses the chance to confront him directly. The episode ends with the escape plan still moving forward, but now under tighter pressure from the new inmate, the guards, and the growing need to execute the breakout in the daylight window Michael has identified.
