Full recap
Michael and the team put their plan to steal **Scylla** into motion, but the job is complicated by the vault’s extreme security and Michael’s worsening condition. At the same time, Gretchen tries to get the **sixth card** by seducing the General, while T-Bag begins to waver because he is getting used to his new respectable life.
The episode opens with the team preparing to breach Scylla’s chamber, which is protected by a concrete wall, a glass wall, motion and heat sensors, and other safeguards that require them to work silently and without disturbing the room’s conditions. Michael is still suffering physically, and the team has to weigh the mission against his need for surgery that same day. Despite that, the plan continues, with Michael eventually choosing to join the operation after getting injections from Sara rather than leaving the others to carry it out alone.
Gretchen separately goes to the General dressed for the role of seductress, hoping to steal the final card needed to decode Scylla. The General quickly sees through her act, confronts her, and threatens to kill her. Gretchen pleads for her life and mentions her daughter, saying the General is the father, which convinces him to let her go, though he warns her never to return or he will kill her. Her attempt fails, so Scylla cannot be decoded by that route.
Back at GATE, T-Bag is still living as Cole Pfeiffer and is visibly conflicted. He is offered a reward and appears tempted by his new life, but he also stays tied to the Scylla scheme and continues interacting with Gretchen and the others. He becomes increasingly reluctant to keep risking this comfortable identity for the larger operation.
The main heist then proceeds anyway. Michael, Lincoln, Sucre, and Mahone move through an underground route from GATE to the Company headquarters and reach the concrete barrier protecting Scylla. They carefully break through using tools and a small camera to guide the work, then continue through the glass wall without triggering the vault’s defenses. The team has to stay extremely quiet and avoid activating the heat and motion systems as they cross into the final chamber.
Once they reach Scylla, Michael goes for it directly, but the act of touching it triggers a hidden sensor underneath the device. The alarm alerts the General, who realizes the breach and orders security to respond. The General personally moves to confront the intruders as the episode ends with the theft attempt exposed and the team in immediate danger.
