Rick and Morty Episode 68: Wet Kuat Amortican Summer

Summer does chores for Rick around the garage and basement, dealing with bizarre cleanup tasks until Rick gives her an attribute slider as payment so she can use it at a frolf mixer. Morty gets jealous, tries to take it from her, and the two end up struggling near a pool, where the device malfunctions and fuses them together, with Morty becoming a small mutant attached to Summer’s stomach.

Summer is humiliated when her classmates react badly to the fused result, and Rick refuses to fix it immediately, making her continue helping him before he’ll deal with the problem. Looking for a way to cope, Summer goes to a nightclub for people with similar fused companions, where she briefly enjoys being accepted and meets other people in the same condition.

The nightclub turns out to be part of a trafficking scheme, and Summer is captured while Morty is taken away as merchandise. Rick eventually tracks them down, teams up with Summer, and they fight through the traffickers’ guards to recover Morty. During the rescue, Summer uses her connection to locate Morty, and the episode ends with the siblings back together after the confrontation.
