Full recap
Sam scores a hat trick, and Richmond’s win puts the team within striking distance of promotion. A wealthy Ghanaian businessman named Edwin Akufo visits the club and makes Sam a surprising offer: he wants Sam to join a new African team he is building, with the promise of a larger project centered on African football and social impact.
At the club, Nate grows frustrated that his tactical work is not getting enough credit. He goes suit shopping with Keeley, and while she tries to encourage him to think bigger, he impulsively kisses her, leaving her shocked and unsettled.
Ted tries to prepare a heartfelt send-off for Sharon, who is leaving the team. Before he can properly say goodbye, she slips out early and leaves notes for everyone instead. Ted later goes to her home, where she tells him to read the letter she left for him. After he does, he is deeply moved.
Roy and Keeley’s relationship is strained further during a magazine photo shoot when they each reveal that they have recently spent time with other people: Keeley tells Roy that Nate kissed her, and Roy admits he spent hours helping Phoebe’s teacher with a school event. The confessions leave both of them rattled.
Meanwhile, Trent Crimm contacts Ted with a warning that an article is about to be published about Ted’s panic attack, and that Nate is the source.
